Modern Hydrotherapy for Your Pet

If your dog has been injured and requires therapy to restore its health, hydrotherapy may be the right rehab option. At Canine Physical Rehab & Recreation, we like to say that “hydrotherapy + rehabilitation ÷ fun = magic!”

Aqua Rehab has been used for thousands of years, dating back to pre-roman times. We use it to combat musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and also for good old fun!  IVDD, Hip Dysplasia and Shoulder issues are just a few examples of conditions that warrant hydrotherapy.

Please See Our Pool Policy Below

  • Life Vests – Our staff will evaluate your pet and decide if a life vest is needed.
  • A maximum of three (3) people are welcome to observe. Children must be supervised. Loud noises & running distract both the staff & your pet.
  • Your dog must wear a secure collar or harness with a solid leash attached (no longer than 6 feet) when entering & leaving the building. No retractable leashes.
  • Appointments are interactive. Your presence helps them gain confidence! Please silence your cell phone & remain in the pool area.
  • Your pet must be clean prior to their appointment. We do understand dogs will be dogs, but please make sure to remove any visible dirt from your dog’s fur/skin. The pool is maintained for recreation, therapy, and the safety of our staff.
  • Poop happens! Please refrain from feeding your pet for at least three (3) hours prior to their appointment time. Before your appointment, please walk your pet to make sure they poop & pee. Accidents in the pool can be cleaned, however it does cause us to close the pool temporarily to properly sanitize the water.
  • Appointments are subject to change due to pool maintenance – water imbalances, additional sanitation, etc… If you receive a call on the day of your appointment, please call us back as soon as possible.
  • Please be respectful to all staff while at our facility. Any inappropriate comments and/or harassment will not be tolerated & you will be asked to leave.
  • No food and/or drinks are allowed in the pool area.
